Causes of Prostate Cancer

There are many questions about the prostate such as what is prostate cancer? Where is it? or what causes prostate cancer? The prostate is a gland in men’s body which found in front of the rectum, behind the pubic bone, lies just below the bladder. The task of prostate gland is to produce fluid which forms part of semen and helps to nourish sperm. It is about the size of a walnut and weighs about 20 grams.

The cause of prostate cancer is not known but characteristics of men who tend to develop prostate problems include difficult urination, urgent urination, increased urination at night. However it is important to realise that all men are at risk of prostate cancer although they have no history of cancer in their family can develop prostate cancer.

Summary of prostate cancer causes as follows Age (men get older), Male hormones(castrated men), Ethnic group(African-Americans), Genetic(families) and Diet. If member in your family has had prostate cancer so you should see doctor for an examination and have regular checkups and remain prostate healthy.

Green Tea Fight Cancer

A Japanese study involved nearly 50,000 men between 40 years old and 69 years old, prostate cancer, but those who drank 5 or more cups of green tea a day cut the risk of their cancer progressing in half. The study show that it inhibits the growth of prostate cancer so it does not spread.

Another Japanese study showed that drinking only 2 or 3 cups a day help fight the spread of breast cancer and gastric cancer and slow a receptor which produces lung cancer cells. So drinking it can fight the spread of lung cancer as well as prostate cancer.
